Be right back or “brb”. Why have I not posted? Where are my recipes? My stories?
We’ve had a whirlwind of a schedule with our blessedly hectic few months. We travelled to spectacular places, then travelled some more. Then, I finally completed my essay for My Food Beginnings, an anthology about Filipino Food. The stories are written by Filipinos from all over the world! Exciting right? I also decided to cut my full time schedule to focus more on writing and cooking. Instant schedule liberation. My new routine is still confusing but I’m starting to get into a better work flow now that we’re back home.
I also created my first ever downloadable eCookbook: Filipino Food – The Three Essential Recipes every foodie will love for email subscribers! It’s free! yay. Sign up here for to receive the book.
Oh and did I mention we’re planning a wedding? We had about a month and a half left after traveling (two weeks as I write this) to plan the event, and that included shopping for a second wedding dress. That is a story in itself.
There you have it. It’s good to focus on life and be busy! Have I figured out all the kinks? No.
What about income? Will I make it as a writer, author, blogger? I don’t know.
So…Stay tuned, sign up for updates, and we’ll find out together. Meanwhile, peruse (ooh fancy word) the site, read stories and recipe posts. and Leave a comment. It would be awesome to hear from you.
Love Chicken adobo, hopefully that is one of the recipes. I will be checking it out, after I “peruse” your other recipes!
Hi Susan! Adobo is one of the recipes in the book. Enjoy! 🙂
