Maja Blanca is a coconut milk flavored Filipino Dessert. It’s delicious, no bake, easy to make, gluten free, and egg free.

Instructions for Maja Blanca 

  1. Grease bottom and sides of 8×8 square baking pan with butter, set aside
  2. Dissolve Cornstarch in corn water in a bowl and set aside
  3. Mix Coconut Milk, Evaporated Milk, and Condensed Milk in a  pot
  4. Bring to a boil on medium heat
  5. Stir occasionally to prevent milk from burning at the bottom
  6. Once it boils, mix in the sweet corn
  7. Add in the dissolved cornstarch and mix constantly
  8. Pudding will thicken right away
  9. Remove from heat and pour mixture in greased baking pan
  10. Leave to cool and set for at least 2 hours
Instructions for Latik
  1. Pour Coconut Cream into non stick pan
  2. Bring coconut cream to a boil
  3. Simmer on medium heat
  4. Mix/Stir occassionally
  5. Cook for about 45 minutes to an hour
  6. Oil and solids will separate
  7. Latik will form into golden brown crumbs/solids
  8. Remove from heat
  9. Drain Oil (optional)
  10. Use as topping for Maja Blanca or other desserts
