Tilapia Baked or Grilled

This post may contain affliate links. read disclosure here
I hope everyone’s enjoying the beautiful weather! Since spring is almost here, I wanted to share this easy and delicious Tilapia Baked or Grilled recipe.
Ingredients:
1 large chopped tomato
1 med size chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped ginger
3 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
4 tilapia filets (thawed)
salt and pepper
Foil
Oil for greasing foil
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
2. Mix tomatoes,onion,ginger,soy sauce,and sesame oil in a
bowl. Set aside.

3. Prepare foil. Cut about 2 1/2 to 3 times larger than the  Tilapia fillet.  Lightly grease one side.                                                                                                                                                4. Place tilapia on the middle of the greased foil and season with salt and pepper.                5. Place mixed tomato-onion-ginger on top of the fillet.

6. Enclose Tilapia in foil by securely folding the foil over the    filet (refer to pictures below)
 7. Place the foil pockets/packs in a baking dish and bake at  425F for about 20 to 25 minutes or place directly on top of a    covered grill for about 20 to 30 minutes*Cooked Tilapia is white and flakes easy with a fork
If you’re short on time, place tilapia fillets on a baking dish, top with chopped tomatoes, onions, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil, cover with foil and bake  for about 20-25 mins.
  Enjoy!
