Easy to make Philippine style dulce de leche frosting

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Pour sweetened condensed milk in a pan
  2. Add egg yolks
  3. Mix slowly until fully combined
  4. Cook the mixture on medium low heat
  5. Mix frequently until mixture thickens
  6. Switch between low to medium low heat to prevent milk from burning
  7. Bring temperature of custard to 160 F to 162 F
    Remove from heat

Notes

Practice safety when cooking egg yolks. Use a thermometer for cooking and temp custard at 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
